Monday April 15th: Vancouver Surfs Up!! Record Store Day Showcase!!

Download this week’s super good times podcast right here

Last weeks podcast kind of got a bit distorted and messed up, so why don’t we talk about this week’s podcast and we’ll forget last week’s show every happened…ever.

I started this week’s show with a surf tinged set due to the large amount of surf bands coming to town over the next two weeks. Starting with Chains of Love, who are playing a show with Beach Day from Florida and Stolen Organ Family this Thursday, April 18th at the Electric Owl. Check out the facebook event page here.

Another good looking gig is happening next Friday, April 26th at Fortune Sound Club with the Thermals coming to town from Portland to shred it up and local heavy weights Peace opening things up. This show’s happening early so that the venue can still make time for crappy dance music and hollow, vapid club goers. Check out the facebook event page here.

Lastly I couldn’t talk about this weeks show without mentioning record store day which is this Saturday, April 20th. I played bands from the shows happening at Red Cat Records, Neptoon Records, and Dandelion Records. You can click on the respective link to see the facebook event page for each record store. It should be an excellent day full of great free music and tons of good record store day only album releases. See you there!!
